MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER

Dear Parents/Carers,

Once again it has been a very successful week at Trinity.  This week, we have had more visitors to our school in one week than we have ever had before. Most of our visitors have been in school to support the development of teaching and learning and to share ideas around school leadership. Every visitor, once again, was highly impressed by our school culture and our students, of which we are obviously very proud.

This week our music students have been ‘popping up and busking’ around school for charity. The quality of performances has been outstanding, and it was great to hear such talented musicians showcasing their talents. I also had the pleasure on Saturday to join the Bronze and Silver D of E students and the D of E staff on their training walk in Hanbury. The walk was REALLY muddy but really great fun and the students were, as always, terrific company.

Please can I remind students and parents/carers about our joint commitment to keep attendance high this time of year. The government have recently published a document suggesting that IT IS ACCEPTABLE for students to attend school with mild illnesses over the winter. I have copied a link to the guidance below, as well as our attendance information posters for your perusal. Please can parents/carers also ensure that students look immaculate in their uniform and if you are struggling to replace any items please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Please remember that a Yondr pouch is part of our non-negotiable equipment and phones should be pouched as soon as students arrive at school.

Have a lovely weekend and I really look forward to sharing more successes with you next week.

Mr Ford

Headteacher
