THS Supporting Families Offer
Trinity High School recognises the challenges families face in bringing up children and acknowledge these challenges can arise at any point throughout childhood and adolescence. Our Early Help Offer includes universal and targeted services designed to reduce or prevent specific problems from escalating or becoming entrenched.
At Trinity High School we understand asking for help can often feel like the hardest step, but we genuinely want to help you if we can do so. If you, or someone else within our school community needs extra help and support, please come and talk to us. There are many ways in which we can help as outlined in this offer of early help. We can also help to plan specific support for families if appropriate. The diagram below shows the range of needs at different levels. We use this graduated approach to make sure we provide the best support for different families’ individual situations.
Early Help is everybody’s responsibility: together we will make sure that children, young people and their families are safe, happy and ready for school, work and life’s challenges.
Our coordinated Supporting Families Offer is outlined below. We strongly believe that early interventions for students and families, in many cases, will prevent children from experiencing harm. All Trinity High School staff are aware of our Supporting Families Offer. At all times, staff consider if there is any offer of early help that we can make in order to help a student thrive. In addition, where appropriate we also liaise with other agencies and support services within the local community.
