THS History would like to say a huge thank you to Helena Merriman, author of Tunnel 29 – an amazing story about a daring plan to rescue Germans trapped on the East side of the Berlin Wall.

Mrs Stocks was first in contact with Helena during COVID-19 when the History department set the original Podcast ‘Tunnel 29’ (BBC Intrigue) as independent learning. As a result of our engagement with the Podcast, then book – Helena very kindly has sent THS signed copies for our History students to enjoy. Thank you Helena!
