PARENTAL BULLETIN – 20 OCTOBER 2023
MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER
The penultimate week of this half term has been a fantastic one. There is so much going on, it is hard to single out any particular highlights. There are, however, a few things that stand out. Our sixth form ambassadors programme has started in earnest and they are doing a fantastic job of ensuring that our games club under the canopies works effectively. Every lunchtime, students can borrow winter blankets and a games box and settle in to play some traditional games. This initiative has been developed to provide even more opportunities for happiness at social times and provide an alternative to sport and other extra-curricular clubs. The games club is going down well for sure. Rehearsals are now well under way for our 2024 school production of High School Musical. We are really looking forward to seeing the final product, which will be the culmination of months of hard work from our talented students and performing arts staff. Watch this space for further details. Finally, we have started to recruit to our new school centred initial teacher trainee hub. If you know of anyone who is considering a career in teaching and would like to train with us from September 2024 then please get in touch. Recruitment has started well and we look forward to welcoming our first cohort of trainees. For the final week of term please can I ask for your support, as always, with impeccable uniform and punctuality as these are the standards that set the tone for the rest of the day. Broadly speaking, students look incredibly smart and we are always very proud of them. We thank you for your ongoing support with this. Have a lovely weekend and I look forward to sharing more Trinity news next week.
