CONTACTING SCHOOL

As many of you will have heard on the school answer phone message, we receive an exceptionally high volume of calls on a daily basis.  Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to answer a high percentage of these calls or to listen to all voice messages left.  We would therefore urge you to email the relevant person/people you wish to contact.  Not only does this ensure that we have a written trail of communication between you and school, but it also means that the person you wish to speak to is guaranteed to receive your message.

Year 11 Next Steps after Trinity High School – still deciding / unsure what to do?

Some steps that may help:

  1. Attend open events at Sixth Forms, Colleges and training providers
  2. Check out the Unifrog Apprenticeship and College/Sixth Form tools
  3. Drop into the Careers Room at break or lunchtime and speak to Mrs Kenderdine or email kenderdiner@trinity.bmat.co.uk for a meeting

Local Engineering Apprenticeship Opportunity

For more information click here Enrola Applicants should be predicted to gain 5 x GCSEs (or equivalent). Grades must be A*-C / 9-5 for Maths and A*-C / 9-4 for English, Science and two other subjects.

Work experience for Year 10 will take place from 6–10 July, and students are expected to secure their own placements. The placement details, once found, will need to be added to Unifrog, log in details have been provided to students already. If students struggle with inputting the information on to Unifrog, they can seek help from either Mrs Kenderdine (Careers Adviser) or Mrs Taman (Work experience co-ordinator). Suitable opportunities are increasingly hard to find, so any support from parents and carers would be hugely appreciated. If you own a business or are able to offer a placement through your workplace, we would be grateful to hear from you. We have 255 students who need placements, and even a small number of additional opportunities would make a big difference. Thank you. Trinity Careers Team.
