Parental Bulletin – 12 July 2024

MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER

Dear Parents/Carers,

I hope that you are all well. It would be no exaggeration when I say that this one of my favourite weeks in the Trinity calendar and this year the week has surpassed all expectations. The highlights of the week have centred around us welcoming our new Year 9 intake for September 2024 and their parents/carers across the week. It was a privilege and pleasure to meet so many happy and excited students and I was simply ecstatic to receive such wonderful feedback regarding the school and the staff from so many of our new parents/carers. This cohort of parents/carers and students are now part of the Trinity family and we look forward to working with you over the coming years. It is also worth adding that the Year 8 students were an absolute credit to themselves and their middle schools on the two new intake days!! What a year group we have incoming.

This week has also been full of trips and visits and all lower school students have had the opportunity to escape the school environment for a day and attend either Blist Hill or the Malvern Hills. The trips were a huge success and the students were a credit to the school and themselves.

However, my favourite moments of the week have to be witnessing the maturity and leadership skills of our sixth form students as they volunteered and supported this week’s events. To say that I am proud of them is an understatement, as are the whole staff body.

Next week is the final week of the academic year and features Sports Day (hopefully if the weather plays ball), Rewards Assemblies and a final farewell to students before they embark on a well-deserved, long summer break.

This is the last parent bulletin of the year and I hope that you have found the weekly round ups to be interesting, informative and useful. I will round up the year in the Headteacher’s section of the last newsletter of the year, but most importantly I will be writing out to parents/carers on Friday 12th July with all the key information that you require to prepare your child for the new academic year in September. I hope the letter provides all the information you need. If you require any clarification on anything, please contact us and we will help you as always.

I hope you have a lovely weekend and enjoy the Euros final … do we think football is coming home?? Let’s wait and see!
