Parental Bulletin – 10th October 2025

MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

This week at Trinity has been open week and school spirit week; it’s been a busy one. On Thursday we were delighted to welcome huge numbers of prospective parents and carers to our school, to immerse themselves in our environment and to meet our students and staff. We hope you enjoyed the evening and if you know any prospective parents or carers who wish to have a private tour during the school day then I would be delighted to oblige. This week has also been school spirit week. A week where we have celebrated Harvest, by collecting much needed food supplies for vulnerable members of our community, and World Mental Health Day, where we wore yellow to recognise that positive mental health is such an important value to promote and nurture. Well done to all students and staff for embracing both events. We look forward to sending our donations out in the community and will inform you of who are the beneficiaries.

Also this week, Mrs Kenderdine took a group of students on a visit to a careers event at a Redditch jobs fair as part of our comprehensive careers programme. And, on Saturday 4th October, we hosted a musical collaboration with Tarantara, a local adult choir, in the quite wonderful ‘A night at the Musicals’. The night was a roaring success and both the choir and our students wowed the audience. It was a truly special occasion.

Every week, we remind parents/carers and politely ask, that you work with us to ensure that your child is in school every day, unless they are extremely unwell or there are other exceptional circumstances. We would also ask that you work with us to ensure that they arrive well ahead of 8.40am and that they present to school each day in immaculate school uniform. In Autumn Term, full school uniform is expected, and appearance should be immaculate. Facial piercings are NOT permitted, and students should understand that blazers are compulsory, and jumpers are optional. We will only accept the Trinity sweatshirt or knitted v neck available from Orchard clothing.

If you would like support or guidance with any of these things, please speak to the relevant Form Tutor, Head of Year or Pastoral Manager and we will be happy to support you.

I am looking forward to sharing news from around the school next week.

Mr Ford

CONTACTING SCHOOL

As many of you will have heard on the school answer phone message, we receive an exceptionally high volume of calls on a daily basis. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to answer a high percentage of these calls or to listen to all voice messages left. We would therefore urge you to email the relevant person/people you wish to contact. Not only does this ensure that we have a written trail of communication between you and school, but it also means that the person you wish to speak to is guaranteed to receive your message.
