Parental Bulletin 08.09.23

Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome back to the new school year and I hope you had an amazing summer break. I am going to keep this week’s parent bulletin very brief and just say THANK YOU for all your support in ensuring that the first week of the school term has been such a success. Behind every student there is a parent/carer reinforcing expectations, providing immaculate uniform, and helping us to achieve excellence with your children. The students have been utterly magnificent this week and I am very proud to be the Headteacher of this magnificent school.

Our Year 9, 10, 12 and 13 students have started so strongly and the reports that we have received from the Year 11 work experience placements have suggested that the students have thrived in their placements.

Please keep your eyes peeled in the Parent Bulletin each week for updates, information, and celebrations of our students’ successes. I use this bulletin as one of my communication platforms, so it is well worth a read each week to keep up-to-date with all things Trinity.

For now, have a really enjoyable weekend in the late summer sunshine and I look forward to working with you this year.

Mr Ford

Headteacher

YEAR 9 SCIENCE BASELINE ASSESSMENT

We will be running a baseline assessment for Science on Tuesday 12th September to identify your child’s starting point in Year 9 so we can ensure that the best support is in place from the very beginning of the academic year. This is nothing to worry about, or to revise for. Your child will have been informed during their lessons and should expect the assessment on Tuesday.

Please feel free to contact me, Mr D Wilson, Director of Science, via email wilsond@trinityhigh.net if you have any questions around the assessment.
