Yr10 and Yr11 House football
On Wednesday 26th November Bredon, Malvern and Kinver competed in our annual house football competition for Year 10 and Year 11. As always, the numbers were really strong and the fixtures were incredibly competitive as each student tried to win house points for their respective houses.
Despite Kinver having the largest number of players, Bredon and Malvern fought really hard to compete and there were some fantastic goals on display. The man of the match was given to Abdul of Bredon for scoring a couple of well-taken goals. However, the moment of the match came when stand-in goalkeeper Alfie, of Malvern, pulled off an unbelievable one-on-one save to keep the score level when Kinver faced Malvern.
The results were:
In joint first place was Bredon and Malvern.
In third place was Kinver.
It was a very enjoyable and competitive evening and hopefully we have more to come when the Year 9 house football competition kicks off on Wednesday 10th December.
We need as many players as possible to try and make it an 11 v 11 competition, so if you are in Year 9, please get yourself to the Astro for a prompt 3.30pm start!
