Yr 10 football vs Waseley

On Wednesday, 5th March, Trinity hosted Waseley in a friendly fixture.
The first half started and Waseley started strongly, scoring within the first two minutes from a well worked corner routine. However, this gave Trinity the push they needed to get going and start to become more competitive. The Year 10 boys started to pass the ball around and press really high up the pitch to win the ball back. Some well-worked football saw Theo cross for Cody to level the scoring.
Unfortunately, in the second half, Trinity started poorly and Waseley pounced on a mistake to make the score 2-1. Despite a lot of effort, Trinity couldn’t quite get the goal to level the score, resulting in a 2-1 loss.
The lads conducted themselves really well and were very polite and respectful to the opposition throughout, whilst also remaining competitive with a desire to win. Mr Downing is really proud of the group, so well done to everyone involved.
MOTM goes to Cody B, who had a fantastic engine all game and scored our only goal. Special mention to Will B, who was excellent in the first half particularly and was very vocal in commanding his back 4.
Well done boys
