Year 9 Rugby 7s Tournament
12 Year 9s travelled to Bromsgrove School on Tuesday to compete in a Rugby 7s tournament, representing the school against other Redditch and Bromsgrove schools. The team played amazingly in their first competition together, narrowly losing by 1 try to South Bromsgrove before winning by 5 tries in their next game! Unfortunately the boys came up short against a talented North Bromsgrove team, losing by a deciding try in sudden death.
All 12 boys played with great spirit and determination, repeatedly coming from behind to take the lead in their games. Their resilience, motivation and skill made for great games and a terrific watch from the side-lines! Well done lads!
