Year 12 Spanish Trip to Frida Kahlo Exhibition
On Thursday 12th January, Miss Nicholson and Miss Roberts escorted the Year 12 Spanish group to a wonderful exhibition in Coventry, dedicated to the interesting life of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. The exhibition used projections to display Frida’s artworks; it was so thought-provoking and original.
Afterwards, the group went for Spanish tapas and tried dishes such as patatas bravas and paella – delicious! The Year 12 students commented on the day: “it was an exciting experience and a great opportunity to learn more about Spanish culture. The exhibition was beautifully presented – the projection was gorgeous and moved us to tears. We all enjoyed it very much. ¡Me lo pasé bomba!”
