Year 11 Girls Handball

Tuesday, 28th November, the Year 11 girls handball team took to the court for the last time! The girls started playing North Bromsgrove and, with their tight defence, we struggled to get past them, until Ruby scored the winner in the last 30 seconds. There was a close game against St Augustine’s which they won 3-2; it was a tense watch! Last up was Tudor Grange. As confident as ever, the girls approached the game with skill and pulled off a 5-1 win, with Hollie scoring 4 goals and Poppy 1.
It was a tense wait for the results, but with the goal difference calculated from all of the games, the girls emerged victorious for their last handball tournament here at Trinity. Well done to all of the girls who played, what a great win!
A special mention goes to Lexie, Ruby, Hollie, Scarlett, Poppy, Lily and Amber who have been part of this winning team since Year 9. This makes them the District Champions for 3 years in a row; an amazing achievement girls.
