Year 11 Football fixture vs North Bromsgrove
On Monday 12th January we hosted North Bromsgrove in the next round of the District competition. The game was very competitive between two good teams.
North started the better of the two teams, scoring early to make it 1-0. However, Trinity came back strongly, scoring 3 quick goals thanks to Miki (year 10) and Cody (x2). As half time hit, Trinity were in a good position.
At the start of the second half, North started strongly, forcing some great saves by Tom and some excellent defending by Yevhenii and Shelton. As we grew into the second half, Miki was able to grab two more goals for his tally, before Ollie squared one for Brooklyn to tap home, making it 6-1. It sends Trinity into the next round of the competition and it was a brilliant display from everyone!
Man of the match goes to Shelton for some superb defending. Special mention to Olly, Miki, Yevhenii, Ollie and Caleb, who stepped up a year to help us out.
