Y10 Netball Tournament
On Thursday 19th October Trinity travelled to Woodrush High School for the first round of the Y10 District Netball Tournament.
In the first match the girls played Woodrush Blues. They worked hard in defence to keep the score low and even though the girls played well through mid court, making some great runs and passes, they unfortunately lost 3-2.
Player of the first match – Amelia.
In the second match of the competition, the girls played North Bromsgrove and this was by far the hardest game of the evening. Again the girls battled hard in defence and despite their composed play in centre court, they struggled to secure a goal losing 0-9.
Player of the second match – Taylor.
In the third and final game of the evening the girls played Woodrush Green. They went out on court with their heads held high, they had learnt from their mistakes in the last game and worked hard in attack. They played some very good set plays in attack but again they struggled to finish, with the final score of the evening 5-1 to Woodrush Greens.
Player of the third match – Safa.
The girls worked so well together, supporting each other throughout the games and showing excellent levels of determination and resilience. Well done!
Safa, Libby, Olivia, Taylor, Ellie, Hailey, Ayla and Amelia.
