World Challengers’ Coronation Bake Sale
Year 11 held their first fundraiser for our July 2024 World Challenge expedition to Malaysia on Friday 5th May – a coronation-themed bake off and sale… It was an amazing atmosphere under the canopies at break, with lower school, 6th form and staff all socialising and enjoying some cake.
Both staff and students did an amazing job baking – from cookies to tray bakes, turtle cupcakes and brownies – it was an amazing effort and both Mrs Stocks and Mrs Loader, as well as the World Challengers, would like to thank all students and staff for their support – what an amazing show of school community!
A special shout out to Mrs Barr – her coronation-themed cupcakes and cakesicles were incredible and she won our staff star baker crown. Ryley in Year 11 was our student star baker for his amazing coronation cupcakes and biscuits!
Our World Challengers raised £301.68 towards their expedition!
