World Challenge Part VII – Night patrol
This is one of the highlights of the trip so far. The 2 groups that didn’t get to go the night before, due to the bad weather, were able to do the beach patrol at different ends of the beach. We must have brought some luck with us as group 1 found the tracks of a female turtle going up to nest! We all gathered near to where she was nesting, witnessed the whole event and Riley even helped them find the tag on the turtle.
It was truly an incredible experience to see and something that we may not see again, which is why animal conservation is so important in the world!
