Symphony Hall Cultural Capital Trip
Our Year 10 students attended their second Cultural Capital trip of the year on Thursday, 8th February. The concert was absolutely breath-taking and students were introduced to the different types of instrument in the orchestra, and experienced a range of different pieces of music, even including Harry Potter!
The poor weather put paid to some of our outdoor afternoon plans so we didn’t get to do the tour of Centenary Square or the canals. We did, however, manage to squeeze in the tour the Library of Birmingham and have lunch before returning back to school. Well done to the students who were a credit to themselves, their families and the school throughout the day.
