Sixth Form Living HEART values

As part of the sixth form tutor programme, Fridays are reserved for community activities and wellbeing. On Friday 15th September the students listened to a talk from Miss Karim about her volunteering work in the summer. Along with volunteers from her mosque, Miss Karim visited Tanzania and spent time working in an orphanage. In a follow-up to this, on Friday 22nd September, all students attended a community breakfast where they were encouraged to eat breakfast together. Breakfast items were available for all students and, in exchange, students were asked to make a small charitable donation which will go to support Miss Karim’s charity projects in Tanzania.
The collection will remain open and we hope to send all donations by October half term. Happiness, Excellence, Ambition, Respect and Tolerance were demonstrated by all members of our Sixth Form community.
