Self defence and safety classes
Last term our 6th form students were incredibly lucky to be the only students in Redditch to be given the opportunity to study self-defence and safety, in school, twice a week, every week for FREE! This was thanks to a project that was led by Pete Martin (Redditch Self-Defence) and funded by Active Hereford and Worcestershire.
Students learned how to box and to defend themselves, received valuable talks from the Police and the Prison Service, learned some first aid and bagged the school a free bleed kit. Students received free passes to use facilities and Redditch and much more!
