Referees back in action!
Wednesday 8th November saw another outing for our budding football referees. They were back in action officiating at the Year 5/6 Girls’ District Football Tournament. Once again the girls were a credit to the school, receiving amazing feedback from the middle school teachers and ensuring the event ran smoothly! After an exciting evening of games, well done to St Bede’s who won 2-0 in the final!
Thank you to Olivia, Taylor, Hayley (Yr10) Hollie (Yr11) and Grace (Yr12 – who was camera shy!) for committing to more and facilitating the tournament this evening, ensuring the year 5/6’s had a competitive, yet enjoyabl,e evening! Well done you were all fantastic!
The refereeing journey continues for the girls who will be helping to officiate our Year 9, 7-a-side tournament next week!
