During half-term week 15 students and staff from Trinity took the time to attend a viewing of the latest production of William Shakespeare’s tragedy ‘Othello’ as part of National Theatre Live at the Redditch Vue Cinema. Students enjoyed the chance to watch the production live but with the comfort of a box of popcorn or two. Here are some mini-reviews from the A-level Literature cohort: “I enjoyed how cinematic it was, with the chorus on stage throughout…”, “…really interesting to see how they used lighting to show character” and “totally different to anything I’ve seen before.”
