House sports
Last week, our students took part in house trampolining and house basketball. Both events were very well attended and the students were a credit to themselves and the school.
For house trampolining, students were judged on their ability to perform skills and then incorporate these skills into a set routine. They have been practicing their routines for weeks ahead of the house competition! The results saw Malvern take 1st place, Bredon 2nd and Kinver in 3rd.
House basketball was equally well attended with students showing enthusiasm and a lot of skills that they have been working on in core PE. The results saw Bredon take 1st place, Malvern in 2nd and Kinver in 3rd. A particular mention for Harry Bacon who was on fire in the Bredon vs Kinver fixture! He scored Bredon’s first 10 points with some fantastic layups!
A big thank you to the members of the PE department for putting on these competitions. Without their efforts, the students wouldn’t be able to take part in such a strong extracurricular provision.
