History at University of Warwick
On Tuesday 18th March, a group of our sixth-form history students attended a workshop run by the CAGE Research Centre at the University of Warwick.
The workshop itself focused on links between history, politics and economics and used examples from Irish, German, and American history to show how economics and the use of data and statistical evidence can be excellent tools when researching into historical enquiries. It was a very thought-provoking workshop, and all our THS historians showed their skill and ability in studying history during the workshop activities.
It was also an excellent opportunity for our Year 12 historians to gain some insight, from current students, into life at the University of Warwick, a prestigious Russel Group university.
Each student was presented with a Certificate of Attendance, and Mr Coyle and Mr Petit are incredibly proud of how our students conducted themselves and drew as much learning as possible out of the workshop activities.
