GCSE Results 2023
Year 11 students and staff celebrated a really pleasing set of GCSE and Vocational results this morning. Our 2023 results demonstrate an improvement on both 2019 and 2022 results, which is fantastic news considering there has been a return to pre-pandemic grading. Other headlines include an improved Attainment 8 measure, results improving in all three core subjects and an improvement in the grades for students who have additional needs.
Headteacher Nigel Ford said; “Considering the context, today’s results mark success for our Year 11 cohort at Trinity High School. Our students are amazing young people; they have persevered through years of disrupted study with unwavering determination and tenacity, and we are therefore overjoyed with their accomplishments. As ever, I am extremely grateful to our teachers and support staff, who have maintained an exceptional standard of education through these challenging times, whilst also providing an exceptional standard of pastoral care for our students”.
There were many notable performances where top grades were awarded. However, our highest achieving students were William T and Niamh P who achieved a raft of Grade 9’s in most subjects.
