Footballers battle icy cold temperatures!
On Thursday, 30th November, our Year 10 girls’ (plus one honorary Year 9 student) football team braved freezing conditions to play in their 7 a-side district tournament. In spite of the below zero temperatures the girls gave their all in all 5 matches, with some very impressive skill on display!
Well done to Liv, Taylor, Ruby, Beth, Lola, Aimee, Ellie, Amelia (all Yr 10) and Tilly (Yr9) for their hard work!
Another massive thank you to Grace C (Yr12) for continuing to support the development of girls’ football by giving up her time to referee!
