D Day memorial service
On Thursday, June 6th, 7 cadets joined the Mayor of Redditch and representatives of the Royal British Legion to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings in Normandy in 1944.
Cadets marched from the Memorial Gardens on Plymouth Road to the Cenotaph in the Town Centre, where Ethan Ball (Year 12) laid a wreath.
The students were able to meet a local veteran who served in World War II, as well as soldiers currently serving with the 37th Signal Regiment.
