Cultural Capital

On Thursday 1st December, Year 10 had their first Cultural Capital event of the year; a live performance by The Quantum Theatre Company, who came in to deliver Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ in Trinity’s very own theatre.

The 3 actors arrived in school an hour before the performance and proceeded to set up all of their own set, lighting, props etc, and then went on to play over 30 different parts in the production between just the 3 of them. As you can imagine there were a significant number of costume changes. The students thoroughly enjoyed the performance and asked some excellent questions of the actors at the end, during the question and answer session.

Thank you to the Quantum Theatre for an amazing performance and well done Year 10! Our next Cultural Capital trip for Year 10 will be a chance for our students to hear a symphony orchestra in full flight at the City of Brimingham Orchestra’s schools’ concert in the world class Symphony Hall.
