Criminology session for psychology students
Last Friday, our Yr12 and Yr13 psychology students attended a criminology session run by Amy Johnson, the Criminology Lead at the University of Worcester. The students discussed the effectiveness of prisons in the UK and whether prison changes someone’s personality.
Students said they loved hearing about Amy’s experiences at work and how she linked it to content they have been learning in the forensic psychology topic. Students also said they had never considered the impact of morals on crime rates and how this can shape what we considerer criminal acts.
