Ancient Egyptian bread-making

This week our Ancient History club have been researching what life was like in ancient Egypt. After extensively looking at all areas of life, we finished the term by focusing on the ancient Egyptian diet.
Tomb inscriptions and reliefs reveal the importance of an ancient bread that used emmer flour. Our club had the opportunity of following one of these old recipes and created shapes similar to those found in King Tut’s tomb.
Well done to all for a fantastic first term exploring the weird and wonderful elements of the ancient worlds!
