A hidden gem with our A-level Literature students…

Students from Years 12 and 13 were whisked away to the Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon this week to watch a performance of one of Shakespeare’s (and one other writer’s) least well-know plays, ‘Pericles Prince of Tyre’. A beautiful and shimmering performance played out with an Arabian Nights tone and mood, Pericles tells the story of a young prince who goes through quite the trials and tribulations to reunite his family.
The feedback from the students was enormously positive and the seats were amazing – our thanks to Ms Allan and Ms Cadman for getting us there and getting us in! Next month – ‘Othello’ at the RSC.
