PARENTAL BULLETIN – 2 DECEMBER 2022
MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER
Dear Parents and Carers
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership.
This week we are making final preparations for many of our traditional end of Autumn Term events that haven’t been able to go ahead for a number of years.
On Monday 5th December, we are really excited to host our inaugural Excellence for All reward assemblies where we will celebrate the success of our wonderful students.
On Wednesday 7th December we are looking forward to bringing back our annual Christmas Concert. We would be delighted to see as many of our Trinity family attend as possible.
Finally on Thursday 15th December, we will once again hold our formal annual Awards Evening.
Please remember to support our three-week attendance challenge by ensuring that unless your son/daughter has a contagious illness then they are in school. We are delighted how the challenge has started and we are confident that the vast majority of our students will have lots of tickets in the grand prize draw for both exceptional and improved attendance.
We look forward to seeing you over the next few weeks if you are attending any of our end of term events.
Best Regards,
Mr Ford
Headteacher

In our drive to broaden our vocabulary, please find our new T2 Workable Word of the week – ‘FOCUS’ – The word ‘focus’ is used to describe the main point of something. It is where the interest lies for a photograph, a piece of writing, a lesson in school and even a part of a room or space. It can also be used to describe a choice made by the person who created the moment. It can be used to deceive the viewer. We use the word ‘focus’ as a noun and a verb.
Here are some ways you could use the word:
“I think Billy likes to be the focus of attention” (noun).
“What is the focus of your school project?” (noun).
“When they removed the bandages, the patient couldn’t focus her eyes properly” (verb).
