Parental Bulletin – 25th April 2024
MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER
Dear Parents/Carers,
Following all the recognition of our Ofsted success and winning secondary school of the year, normal service has resumed at Trinity this week. Much of the work that the school has been focusing on has been directed towards Year 11 and 13 and the preparations for their forthcoming examinations. With Year 11 students, there are additional Maths and English sessions in the mornings that students are finding particularly useful: passport to success, final lesson revision and support from individual departments. The exam preparation work for Year 13 is largely taking place in lessons as all the content has been covered in almost every subject area. We wish our students the best of luck with their individual preparations this week.
This week we have hosted a range of broadening horizons experiences including summer sports, music and even staff charity car washing. We continue to offer a broad and varied extra-curricular programme and will encourage students to participate through our “commit to more” scheme.
Please could parents/carers ensure that they have read and understood the changes to our late to school procedures. There are some significant changes for students who arrive late to school and it is important that parents/carers understand the changes and are able to work with us to support students arriving on time. Your support with this is much appreciated.
I hope you have a super weekend and I look forward to writing to you next week.
Mr Ford
Headteacher
