Parental Bulletin – 19th April 2024

MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER

Dear Parents/Carers,

This is probably the most celebratory parent bulletin I’ll ever send you, as this week has been a week of success and celebration for our wonderful school community.

The first thing to celebrate is our wonderful OFSTED INSPECTION REPORT which I had the pleasure of sending you this week. I think you’ll agree that this is a wonderful report for the school and captures the hard work of our wonderful staff in providing a really fantastic educational experience for our students. To achieve an outstanding grading for leadership and management is quite astonishing and we are very proud to be able to publish that the school is so well led and moving in such a good direction.

The second thing to celebrate is that on Thursday evening, Ms Baker and I attended the Worcestershire Education Awards 2024 due to being shortlisted for the SECONDARY SCHOOL OF THE YEAR AWARD. After hearing many inspirational stories from others in the education sector in Worcestershire, it was the turn of the winner to be announced in our category and guess what ……..

WE WON!!!

Thank you so much to all the parents/carers who nominated us and have such belief in what we’re doing. This is the best school in the world and we really appreciate the support that you are giving us. We will spread the word of these successes far and wide so look out for us in the press, but we will stay grounded and continue to work hard to provide the very, very best education for the Trinity students.

I hope you have a lovely weekend and we’ll return to a more normal parent bulletin next week.

EASEMORE ROAD AFTER SCHOOL PARKING

Can all parents /carers picking up at the Easemore Road gates please be mindful of parking and waiting for your child in a safe manner. There have been some complaints from local residents with regard to unsafe driving and parking in a way that is stopping the traffic from moving freely. Your support with helping to keep the road clear would be much appreciated.

SPRING SEASON IS TICK SEASON

To reduce the chance of being bitten:

  • cover your skin while walking outdoors and tuck your trousers into your socks
  • use insect repellent on your clothes and skin – products containing DEET are best
  • stay on clear paths whenever possible
  • wear light-coloured clothing so ticks are easier to see and brush off

If you discover a bite mark that looks like a target, consult your GP immediately
