Parental Bulletin

PARENTAL BULLETIN – 17 MARCH 2023

MESSAGE FROM HEADTEACHER

Dear Parents/Carers

Last Friday marked the first occasion, where I was unable to publish a parent bulletin update, because of the school closure due to snow. I would like to start this week’s bulletin by thanking parents and carers for their support and patience over the past couple of weeks.

Due to the extreme weather conditions and the planned industrial action, our students have had one of the most disrupted terms I can remember in my career. However, our students have demonstrated great resilience despite of the disruption; they are a credit to you as always! Despite the disruption, Year 11 and 13 mock examinations have been marked and results are being fed back to students. The work ethic that our examination year groups have demonstrated is simply fantastic, and we will continue to offer a significant number of opportunities for them to refine their exam craft in preparation for the summer.

Next week, the calendar returns to being packed full of traditional Trinity excitement and opportunity in and outside the classroom. We are hopeful that many parents will take time out of their schedules on Monday to celebrate the success of their sons/ daughters at our Excellence for All Assemblies. We can’t wait to see you next week. Also next week, there are Year 9, 12 and 13 trips and sports leadership assessments.

Please can parents/carers ensure that students attend school all of the time with the exception of serious ill health, arrive at school on time and wear our uniform immaculately.

Next week I will share some news regarding plans for summer term, share a staffing update and publish the plans for the last day of term, Friday 31st March.

Have a lovely weekend and thank you once again for your support and patience.

Mr Ford
