MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER

Dear Parents/Carers,

It has been a very busy week as always, but I must start with commenting on how proud I was to lead our school community through our annual remembrance service last Friday. Our students were a credit to us and invited guests, such as representatives from the Royal British Legion and Governors, were blown away with the maturity of our students. They are simply a credit to us and I feel very lucky that we have students who understand how to conduct themselves at such an affair.

This week Year 11 and 13 mock examinations ended and our teachers are busily marking the papers. Students are eagerly anticipating the results and the feedback that will help them make any adjustments required to improve their results in the next mock exam series.

This week there have been lots of events that have broadened students’ horizons and created heaps of enjoyment for them in the process. The Heads of House hosted the sixth form house quiz, the district cross country team represented the school at a local event and half and full colours were awarded to our committed performing artists and sports students.

Please remember to save the date of Tuesday 19th December for the Autumn Term Excellence for All Assembly. We really look forward to welcoming you.

Have a great weekend and thank you for your ongoing support.

Mr Ford
