PARENTAL BULLETIN – 01 DECEMBER 2023

MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER

Dear Parents/Carers,

On December 1st Eve, as we hurtle towards the Christmas holidays, I’m excited to write to you, to share some of my peaks of the week. You only need to follow our social media to get a sense of how our students are thriving in their education in the classroom and beyond. Some of my peaks of the week have been:

Showing visitors our Reading School and Sixth Form Electives programmes that run each morning and receiving amazing feedback.

  • Celebrating the success of our trampoline and handball teams as they represented the school this week.
  • Appointing a contractor to commence works on our new Astro project which will start in early January and be ready for use 6-8 weeks later.
  • Observe lots of lessons and witness how our approach to creating learners who are cognitively active is making a huge difference to how students learn at our school.

I read my peaks of the week out to staff every Friday and share them with you too. We have a lot to be proud of at Trinity at the moment and this is just a snapshot of all of the great work that is going on.

Over the next few days, we will be launching OUR 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE which is a challenge that will unashamedly support our quest for exceptional attendance in the lead up to the Christmas holidays. We will write out to you in the coming days with details of the challenge, but fundamentally, there will be a raffle every day for 12 days where awesome prizes (growing in size and value) will be available for those that attend school. We can’t wait to share some Christmas vibes with the students and incentivise excellent attendance at the same time. Please look out for the details in the coming days.

Finally, please remember that the AUTUMN EXCELLENCE FOR ALL AWARDS ASSEMBLY is on Tuesday 19th December. We look forward to seeing as many parents/carers in attendance as possible if you can make it.

I look forward to writing to you next week.

Mr Ford

Headteacher
