Uniform Adjustment – Wednesday 26th June 2024 ONLY

Parents/carers of students in all year groups will be aware that I always try and take a sensible and safe approach with our uniform policy during the summer term, particularly when temperatures climb significantly and enforcing our normal uniform expectations would be detrimental to student’s ability to concentrate and remain cool whilst in lessons.

For this reason, I have decided that on Wednesday 26th June only, students will be able to attend school in their Trinity PE kit, when the weather forecast suggests that temperatures are likely to be 28 degrees and humid. Students will be expected to wear normal uniform again on Thursday and Friday.

Please can parents/carers ensure that students do not attempt to make any adjustments to their PE kit. Smart, Trinity PE kit is the uniform for tomorrow, and any students attempting to arrive at school in anything other than Trinity PE kit will be sent home to change. I am grateful in advance for your support with ensuring your son/daughter wears the appropriate PE kit.

Sixth form students and staff will also be able to adjust their uniform and will be able to wear smart summer clothing that is appropriate for a school environment.

Please can parents/carers also ensure that your son/daughter arrives at school each day this week with plenty of water to drink, as they will be encouraged to remain hydrated throughout the day.

If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us and thank you for your ongoing support.

Yours sincerely

Mr Nigel Ford

Headteacher
