Year 11 Netball
On Tuesday 21st March the Year 11 netball team played their last ever games for Trinity High School at home. They played Woodrush High School in the first round and St Augustines High School in the second round.
In the first game the girls took a while to warm up and find their stride, they defended well and worked hard through the centre court. Unfortunately they struggled to get through their strong defence with a final score of 3-8 to Woodrush High.
In the second game the girls looked positive and confident, it was an even match with some great defending and outstanding shooting from our girls, with a final score of 10-12 to St Augustines.
Player of the match = Lexi C.
The team have played together since year 9, representing our school on a regular basis. They have been a pleasure to coach, always demonstrating excellent team work, dedication and overall fantastic role models for our younger netball players coming through. Their passion for netball has spread into the local community with some of our girls now playing for the local Redditch Netball team and Bromsgrove Academy.
We wish them all the best for the future and hope to see our players back in the Sixth Form team.
