World Challenge part II
After a couple of tiring days trying to adjust their body clocks, most of our intrepid travellers started the day with walking to the shopping mall to buy some food supplies for the next couple of nights, whilst a couple of others went to go and collect their luggage. They were able to stay in budget (making our team accountant, Josh, very happy) and had some makeshift cereal in cups for breakfast. Thankfully, all bags made it in one piece and our staff and students were able to hit the road for two hours to travel to Melaka.
Our adventurers stayed in a hotel with phenomenal views of the city and ventured out by the river for lunch where they tried rotis. They then got ready to head out to the night market to grab some dinner, walking past some trees full of Common Hill Myna birds, which could be heard from across the road! The group then stopped at a local restaurant to eat dinner where some tried seafood dishes and were visited by a couple of geckos climbing the wall.
