Kaitlyn signs for Birmingham City U21

A huge congratulations to Kaitlyn in Y11, who has recently signed a two-year contract with Birmingham City Ladies’ U21 Academy.

Kaitlyn was scouted by Birmingham City FC when she was just 8 years old. She trained with the team for a few months on trial and then signed her first contract with Birmingham City FC U10’s.

Over her time at the club, Kaitlyn has played fixtures against some of the biggest teams including Chelsea FC, Man City FC, Liverpool FC, to name but a few, along with teams from America, Australia and the Wales national team. This season she was selected to captain the team for the U16’s and won the ‘BCFC special award’.

Kaitlyn is very dedicated to her football and schoolwork, she trains four days a week, including sessions in the gym and classroom, playing her matches on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Kaitlyn spends a lot of time travelling around the country for away matches and she still finds time to complete all her schoolwork and achieve her grades.
