Gen22 course for sixth formers
Our 6th Form Students have been taking part in a Gen22 course, which provides students with employability-boosting opportunities through the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and in partnership with Action Hereford and Worcestershire.
Students have been learning some self-defence, boxing and first aid, as well as receiving input on employability from the Police, counselling and prison sectors. As part of this course, our students were presented with a trauma first aid kit for the school by Pete Martin from Redditch Self-Defence.
All of the students in this group are fully-trained to use this kit if necessary. Well done THS Sixth Form and a huge thank you to Pete Martin.
