Culture Capital
On Tuesday, 3rd October, the whole of Year 10 descended upon Warwick Castle for their first Cultural Capital trip of the year so far. It was the most amazing day…the weather was glorious and both staff and students had a wonderful time exploring the castle, the dungeons, the beautiful grounds and watching the shows. The Falconers Quest Show was exceptional and we saw a wide rang of exotic birds, ranging from an Andean condor (wingspan of a small car!), red kites, owls and bald eagles. The trebuchet was the second show and it was outstanding to observe how the trebuchet worked. We are now looking forward to our next adventure…..an Orchestral Wonderland at Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
