In the week beginning Monday 28th June 2021 we will be moving to a new Management Information System (MIS) in school called Bromcom.

This is a very big move operationally for the school and it will cause a small amount of disruption to the normal home /school communications that we have at present.

For Parents:

  • The current App of SchoolComms/School Gateway will go and be replaced by a Bromcom App called ‘My Child at School’. Details of how to download this App will be on the school’s website.
  • The Bromcom App ‘My Child at School’ will eventually have all the details you need to see on your son/daughter at school – ranging from Academic Reports to Attendance to Behaviour Logs
  • All online payments (Dinner Money, Trip Payments, Prom(s), Music Lessons etc). The Cashless Payments system will operate through the new My Child at School App. For Example: if you currently use the SchoolComms/School Gateway system to pay for dinners at school, please continue to use the current system up until Friday 25th June 2021.

The new Bromcom system will hopefully be live from the following Tuesday 29th June 2021. Please bear this in mind when adding funds to the relevant system(s).

We strongly advise and encourage as many parents/carers as possible sign up for the My Child at School App as this will become the sole communication medium for school from this time onwards.

For Students:

  • There is a dedicated Bromcom Student App that will allow them to see their timetables, homework and so on. Again, details of how to download this App will be on the school’s website.

As well as discontinuing the use of SchoolComms, ePraise will also be no longer used by school. Bromcom will provide all these services in the My Child at School App. Having all these services in one App will hopefully be much more convenient for all parents and carers.

In order to login to MCAS portal you will need to have a valid email address registered with the school.
If you do not have a email registered with the school please contact the school and ask for Mrs Roberson.

Once you have an email address registered with the school, you should have been sent an invitation code. You will need this invitation code for the first time you login.

When you login for the first time you will need to click Redeem Invitation Code? This can be found above the login button.

On this page enter the school ID, your email, and the invitation code. Click redeem code and you will be taken to the next page. The next page you will be asked to fill out a few details about your self. Once those have been complete you will receive a confirmation email.

The next time you login all you need to enter is your school ID, username, and password.
