Parental Bulletin – 23.02.24
MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER
Dear Parents/Carers,
Thank you for all your support in the first week back of another short Spring half term. This week has been fantastic, largely because as I write this week’s bulletin, we are currently halfway way through our run of shows for this year’s production of High School Musical. I am reliably informed that the show has sold more tickets than any other Trinity production ever, and the talented students and staff who have worked so hard to produce an incredibly high-quality show should be rightly proud of themselves.
This week, as part of our broadening horizons experience, there was a Science trip to Cern and a Photography trip, where students enjoyed going to the Phil Loach photography exhibition in Birmingham.
In the world of Quality of Education, this term’s focus is assessment for learning, where we will be increasing our use of ‘show me boards’ in an effort to help us identify student misconceptions. In the world of behaviour, manners and punctuality we continue to drive our behaviour curriculum.
Please can I remind parents/carers that this term’s EXCELLENCE FOR ALL celebration assemblies will be on the morning of TUESDAY 19TH MARCH. It would be lovely to see as many parents/carers as possible at the assemblies; the guest speaker is one not to be missed.
Finally, please can I continue to remind parents/carers of the rules around immaculate uniform. Students may only wear a Trinity jumper, and this should be in addition to, and not replace the compulsory item of the blazer. During the cold conditions, students are more than welcome to wear a warm coat, but no tracksuit tops or hoodies please.
I look forward to writing to you next week and enjoy the show if you are here on Friday evening.
Best Regards,
Mr Ford
Headteacher
