Parental Bulletin – 15th March 2024
MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER
Dear Parents/Carers,
I hope you have all had a good week and are now looking forward to some time off at Easter on the horizon. Last week at Trinity, it certainly won’t have escaped your notice that we had a full Section 5 Ofsted Inspection, which is obviously a high stakes process where our school is judged on the educational provision that it is providing for its students. Thank you for your support over the course of the inspection and for completing the parent survey in high numbers. The outcome of the inspection will be published after Easter and I will give you all the details of the report as and when I’m able.
This week at Trinity, there has been lots going on both in the curriculum and the wider curriculum and students have been working super hard in both aspects. It has been a big week for trips in that there has been a Year 9 cultural capital trip to the Think Tank, the Year 13 food trip to Italy, a Health and Social care trip to a care home and a more able learners’ trip to Oxford university.
It is also the season of exam preparation, formal assessments and ensuring that no stone is left unturned to ensure that Year 11 and Year 13 are ready for their summer final examinations. There will be correspondence to parents/carers of students in these year groups imminently.
Please can I remind parents/carers that this terms EXCELLENCE FOR ALL celebration assemblies will be next week on the morning of TUESDAY 19TH MARCH. It would be lovely to see as many parents/carers as possible at the assemblies and the guest speaker is one not to be missed.
Finally, please can I continue to remind parents/carers of the rules around immaculate uniform. Students may only wear a Trinity jumper, and this should be in addition to and not replace the compulsory item of the blazer. During the cold conditions, students are more than welcome to wear a warm coat but no tracksuit tops or hoodies please.
I look forward to writing to you next week in the end of term newsletter.
Best Regards,
Mr Ford
Headteacher
