Parental Bulletin – 11th October 2024
MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER
Dear Parents and Carers,
It’s been one of our busiest weeks in the calendar this week with our open mornings and open evening all being a huge success. The highlight of this week has simply been meeting the hundreds and hundreds of prospective parents and students that came to see us. They gave us some lovely feedback, of which we are very proud. The other highlight has to be our students and how they shone at the open evening. They are an absolute credit to us and I’m so proud of them all.
Also, this week, the senior leadership team had the pleasure of holding some student focus groups to understand more about our students’ experiences in their learning and the wider school, with an objective of making our school even better. The students, once again, were fantastic and articulate and together we’ve planned some ways to improve some of the aspects of the school that will make a difference to them.
Please can we remind parents/carers of the importance of high school attendance and ensuring that students arrive punctually to school. We’d really appreciate your support with this. If any parents/carers would like any support or guidance, then please see the attendance pages on our website.
We look forward to working with you all next week and have a lovely weekend when it comes.
Mr Ford
CONTACTING SCHOOL
As many of you will have heard on the school answer phone message, we receive an exceptionally high volume of calls on a daily basis. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity either to answer a high percentage of these calls or to listen to all voice messages left. We would therefore urge you to email the relevant person/people you wish to contact. Not only does this ensure that we have a written trail of communication between you and school, but it also means that the person you wish to speak to is guaranteed to receive your message.
