Lickey Hills

The majority of Year 10 students and staff took on the mammoth Woodpecker route (the longest route) at the Lickey Hills Country Park as their penultimate Cultural Capital Experience of this academic year. Some students opted to do the shorter, Bluebell route, but did it twice, which was almost as long and definitely as hilly!
The walks were a total of 7.3 miles and students were a credit to themselves, their families and the school, as they navigated their way across the golf course and across different terrains to reach their coaches to return home. One group even opted to carry a large log around the whole route.
Well done every one – a fantastic demonstration of effort, team work and respect for both the environment and the community.
