ASSESSMENT FORMAT
Two exams and Three coursework units.
SUBJECT OVERVIEW
This qualification allows learners to study IT in a context that enables them to learn and be assessed in ways that are practical and relevant to the IT sector. The Course is designed to give students practical skills in designing, developing, and testing applications, preparing them for progression to undergraduate study or employment in the technology sector.
The qualification includes the following mandatory units:
- Fundamentals of Application Development (Exam)
- Developing Application Software (Exam)
- Designing and Communicating UX/UI Solutions (Coursework)
Optional coursework units may include:
- Website Development
- Software Development
- Game Development
