Dear Parents, Carers and Students
Week 2 of lockdown begins. I hope you are well, staying safe and obeying the rules. It is vitally important that we ALL observe the rules on social distancing and isolation if we are to ensure this situation is over as quickly as possible.
After this week, it is the two week Easter holiday. During this time staff will not be setting any work and I am asking everyone to ‘take a break’ during this time.
There are a number of things being worked on by staff at the moment, some of which you will be aware of. Can I highlight the following for you this week:
- @THS_PhysEd (Trinity PE Twitter) is setting daily activities and challenges for students as well as updates on what staff are doing to stay fit at this time
- Cooking with Cadman and Kirk. Our fabulous Food Science teachers have uploaded some video lessons/recipes for students and families to try at home. These can be found by students in the ‘Food’ folder on the shared drive. These will be posted on YouTube as well in the near future
- Mr Khawaja and Mr Lawrence will be launching ‘Morale Cast’ in the near future. This will focus on wellbeing and will try to post something new for each weekday. Watch this space
- Amazon have free kindle books available for all. Please follow this link. https://www.amazon.co.uk/b?ie=UTF8&node=21173577031
I have also, sent via emai, lother information from other support organisations for your information. In addition, we have been made aware of a local network of volunteers who are doing a fantastic job supporting Redditch residents:
COVID19 – Mutual Aid Network https://supportredditch.net/help-centre/
They are offering support with food, medicines, post, advice and many other areas. Please take a look at their website.
I hope you all have a good week. Stay Safe, and stay positive.
Mr A Ward
